A business connection is any person you know from a professional setting. Business connections include co-workers, former colleagues, existing clients, former clients, partners, etc. A business connection could also be a personal contact, but we focus on business relationships.
top
Unlike lead exchange marketplaces and other professional networks, Salesconx is about introductions. Salesconx Clients get personalized introductions to qualified decision makers from Selling Experts who have done business with that decision maker in the past. Unlike traditional lead generation, Salesconx helps connect business professionals to decision makers with a problem and budget. This process enables our clients to bypass common obstacles associated with new client acquisition such as gatekeepers, voice mail, doubts about return on investment and costly demand generation campaigns.
top
Our Selling Experts are not expected to supply business connections to direct competitors. Our members provide only information that they are comfortable sharing. It is up to our members to decide with whom they want to buy and sell connections. Most business referrals are exchanged between non-competitive professionals. For example, if a marketing professional introduces a cleaning supplies sales rep to a small business owner, there is no fear of doing damage to, or losing, a long-term relationship.

The creation of Salesconx was three pronged:
Billions of dollars are spent each year on lead generation. Small and medium-sized businesses as well as enterprises are spending millions of dollars at a time to gain access to prospective customers. Despite this increase in spending, businesses nationwide continue to see a decrease in their ROI.
The emergence of social and professional networking platforms continues to change the way people communicate.
The understanding that professionals have always networked with one another offline in an effort to create mutually beneficial business relationships.

Salesconx is comprised of two groups. Salesconx Clients are business-to-business professionals looking to drive revenue. Salesconx Expert Sellers are business professionals or expert networkers with many professional contacts. Salesconx is not for business-to-consumer or MLM professionals.
top
No, there are no licensing or subscription fees associated with joining Salesconx. Clients only pay for introductions to decision makers they approve.

Salesconx has two referral programs. If you are a LinkedIn member you can directly send your contacts a referral email by going to "My Account." (Note: you must be logged in to do this). From there click "Refer Your LinkedIn Contacts" to upload contacts and chose whether to send an invitational email to some or to your entire LinkedIn network. Upload as often as you add to your network (contacts will never receive multiple emails from Salesconx). You will receive $100 for each professional you refer who becomes an active Salesconx member.
If you have a non LinkedIn contacts you think would benefit from Salesconx, you can invite them to the site as well. Under the "My Account" section click on "Refer a Friend" (Note: you must be logged in to do this). For each friend you refer who signs up and closes a transaction, you will receive $20.

When a Client lists a "Request for Connection" on the site he or she decides how much to pay for that listing. For each successful exchange (we call this a transaction), Salesconx earns 30% as well as a flat $10 Salesconx Charge.
top
If the listing is withdrawn from the site the entire fee (except for the $10 Salesconx Charge) will be returned to the Client.

A Selling Expert is a prequalified, sales consultant who connects our Clients to their target customers. Our Selling Experts range from independent sales people to professional networkers. Salesconx Selling Experts earn referral fees by putting our clients in touch with a decision maker from their professional networks.
top
Salesconx offers Selling Experts two ways of earning referral fees on Salesconx: pitching a contact to a Client's "Request for Connection," or list a "Connection for Sale" if the Selling Expert knows a decision maker in the market for a specific product or service.

Salesconx Clients are professionals, businesses, organizations or enterprises that are using Salesconx to connect with their target customers.
top
Salesconx provides the first platform to support "profitable" networking for B2B professionals. Unlike traditional online networking tools, Salesconx allows its members to get right to the point - drive business for their organizations, maximize ROI and earn referral fees. You won't find typical features of networking communities on Salesconx. We're not about adding "friends" to your network or applications to your profile. Instead, we're all about helping business professionals connect with the right decision makers while increasing ROI.
For more examples of how Salesconx works for Clients read Focus Enterprise: MessageLabs or Focus Enterprise: Tek Collect.

Yes. Please contact the Account Management Team if you have any additional questions.

You can prefund for business connections with your credit card (all major) when you post a listing. If you are interested in purchasing bulk credits (a great solution for clients who plan on purchasing multiple connections), please contact your Account Manager or email accounts@salesconx.com.

All transactions on Salesconx are moderated through a lead verification process. After a lead is given, the Client has 14 days to verify that the lead was indeed valid. If there is a problem with the lead, the item will go into mediation where the Salesconx team will determine if the lead was viable or not. A full refund, less the $10 Transaction Fee, will be given to the Client if the lead is not viable.
top
Salesconx does not guarantee that referrals from Selling Experts will result in a deal. Consistent with the nature of leads, not all introductions, purchased contacts and appointments will lead to a deal. As an experienced, qualified professional, it's up to you to follow-up with the contact (we recommend at least one email and two phone calls). We do, however, guarantee that you will only be liable to pay for those contact(s) and/or introductions that are valid and accurate. More information about what is a valid referral on Salesconx can be found here.

Promo dollars and Salesconx Bux are credits (or promotional dollars) that function just like cash on Salesconx.com. Your promo dollars can be redeemed for the purchase of any introduction. Please be advised that if your account is credited as part of a promotion, Salesconx has the right to accept pitches on your behalf (and will be automatically paid for with promotional dollars). Additionally, all introductions garnered from the use of promotional dollars will automatically be verified. All other transaction rules still apply.

Many of our clients have expressed a desire to reach a higher level of Selling Expert by offering a greater incentive for the introduction. This incentive is similar to a "kicker" that many companies offer to those that bring new business. Success Fees are added bonuses contingent on a deal closing. For example, let's say that you're interested in meeting VPs of Marketing of small and medium sized businesses for $100. $100 might not be enough money to motivate many Selling Experts, so you decide to offer an extra $1,000 to the Selling Expert in the event that you close business with the Selling Expert's contact. In this instance, the $1,000 would be considered the Success Fee.
top
Success Fees range anywhere from a hundred to tens of thousands of dollars. A good rule of thumb is to take your average deal size and allocate 10 - 20% of that as the Success Fee.
top
Yes. Although listings with attached Success Fees generally have lower Introduction Fees.
top
Success fees are not required but encouraged. Success Fees really motivate our network of Selling Experts to introduce you to their trusted, professional connections. Success Fees provide a great, extra incentive for the Selling Expert and increase the ratio of leads to deals.
top
Yes. This makes the process of transacting much easier. Success Fees should be calculated based on your average deal size.
top
A Success Fee will be collected along with the Salesconx Success Fee after you verify the contact information. The Success Fee will be paid to the seller if a deal is concluded within the timeframe you specify, or otherwise returned to you. The Salesconx Success Fee is our cost for processing and monitoring the deal and is 30% of the Success Fee. Again, all Success Fee monies will be collected only after you verify the contact info sent to you by the Seller.
top
If you are interested in adding a Success Fee of over $1,000 to one of your listings, we require that you complete an independent sales agreement with Salesconx (preferably your company and Salesconx). This agreement basically states that you are empowering Salesconx to act as your independent sales representative; and you will compensate Salesconx accordingly for revenue generated from the introductions that Salesconx is brokering.
top
Just like regular listings, listings with Success Fees attached to them must go through the entire transaction process. Once the Client has verified the initial introduction, he or she will pay the Success Fee Cost to Salesconx. The Client will verify the status of the deal on the website and the Account Management Team will also check on the status of the deal.
top
Once the Client reports that the deal is closed, we will release the Success Fee to the Selling Expert.
top
We will send you regular emails requesting updates on the status of the deal.
top
Send an email to dealmein@salesconx.com and we'll get back to you shortly.
top
In order to protect our members, the Salesconx team reviews all listings before they appear on our marketplace and are syndicated to our network of Selling Experts.
